Security Tips

  • Keep all of your valuables and important documents in a lockable fireproof box in a secure place.

  • When going out of town be sure to notify a neighbor(s) and the police department and also notify your Post Office and newspaper company(s) so they can hold your deliveries

  • Leave your front and back outdoor lights on with a light sensing photocell unit and use motion sensing floodlights.

  • On the lock plates for your doorknob and deadbolt make sure the screws are long enough to go into the inter structure of the wall.

Have Pets?

We have motion detectors that are pet friendly(for most pets); ensuring your motion sensors will not give you a false alarm when your pets are moving about your property.

Even if you choose a system without pet friendly sensors, we can actually show you how to protect your property by turning on your security system in custom modes that enable animals to move about freely while your doors and perimeter are all still securely alarmed.

Wireless or Hardwire

Both wireless and hardwired systems have their own individual benefits. Depending on your wants and needs we will advise you of which type of devise is best for you.

A wireless system is often preferred by customers whose property is difficult to run wire through. These systems are also compatible with panic and on/off remotes. Additionally, with a wireless system you have the ability to easily relocate your detectors if you remodel, move, or choose to add or enhance the level of protection at your property.

Hardwired systems provide the advantage of never needing to replace batteries. Additionally, some devices will be more suitable with hardwired applications depending on your individual situation.
